Cats on this page are available for adoption at our state-of-the-art shelter!

While cats reside at Tree House, they live in colonies of six to eight cats in sun-filled rooms with multiple perches, ample food and water, toys and even a “catio” (an enclosed cat patio where they can get fresh air and experience the sounds and smells of the outdoors). All cats receive comprehensive veterinary care, including neutering, microchipping, and vaccinations, as well as treatment of any known health issues from our in-house veterinary clinic. Nearly a third of the cats who come to Tree House have special needs or health issues. Tree House’s clinic staff, along with our dedicated volunteer foster parents, help these cats regain their health and get ready for adoption.

Tree House is thrilled to be participating in Bissell Pet Foundation’s Empty The Shelters event! Learn more here.

Thanks to the generosity of our awesome board member Ginger Dusek, all fees for Empty the Shelters are fully sponsored!

Empty the Shelters is an annual tradition–a nationwide event focused on finding loving homes for cats and breaking down barriers to adoption.

You may have seen some cute kittens on our social media feeds! That’s because it’s kitten season, when mother cats typically give birth and our volume of kittens drastically increases. While we’re eager to get these kittens into homes, they are not adoptable right away. We send kittens home with our trusted foster volunteers, who care for them in safe and secure environments while they grow old enough for basic medical care.

We know how cute they are, and our kittens are very popular!

Some cats love living the shelter life, but sometimes they need that special home touch to thrive. Our foster volunteers help every cat thrive by opening up their homes to adoptable cats while they wait for their forever home. We call these cats Shelter Skippers, and you can adopt them straight from foster through Tree House!

  • We release new adoption appointments weekly, and do not accept appointments for than two weeks in advance.
