Tree House is Chicago’s oldest, cage-free cat shelter, founded in 1971. We are dedicated to ensuring that every cat thrives by providing adoption, re-location, TNR, and medical services to homeless cats. We support over 1,000 colony caretakers who feed and provide for more than 4,000 outdoor cats on Chicago’s north side. We also provide services to our community, such as our Pet Food Pantry, which supplies food to pre-approved, low-income residents who need help feeding their pets.
Tree House is presently fundraising in order to provide public clinic services to residents who otherwise couldn’t afford vet care for their cats and dogs and expect our new Veterinary Wellness Center to open in 2021, just in time for our 50th anniversary.
