Two Tree House friends! 2️⃣⁠ ⁠ Lobster Bisque (formerly known as Appalachia) joined a fellow Tree House alum when he was adopted into his new home last fall. His adopter often worried that Crawfish Boil, now a senior cat, was lonely during the workday. 💔⁠ ⁠ Now, with the playful energy from young Lobster Bisque, the house is never quiet! 🌪️ The two keep each other entertained and happy all week long, from slow Monday mornings to wild Saturday nights. 😍⁠ ⁠ Some cats find their support feline during their time in the shelter, while others find companionship later in life. Lobster Bisque and Crawfish Boil remind us that sweet friendship can come at any time in life. 🐾

Remember Miss Toe Beans?! 🥰⁠ Jellianne Toe Beans—o Remember Miss Toe Beans?! 🥰⁠ Jellianne Toe Beans—one of our special shy girls—has been quietly making huge strides in foster as she builds trust with her human.⁠ ⁠ Not long ago, she would only take treats if her foster dad wore gloves🧤, and pets were limited to a petting stick (a wand wrapped in fleece). It was progress… but careful progress.⁠ ⁠ Miss Toe Beans recently underwent a dental procedure 🦷 removing teeth that were causing her discomfort, and the result of being pain-free has changed her world. Because now? The gloves are off. She happily takes treats and has learned to accept gentle pets: a milestone that’s HUGE for a cat like her. 🏆️⁠ ⁠ Every small step is a victory, and Jellianne Toe Beans is getting closer and closer to being adoption-ready. After 547 days, Honeysauce’s adoption became official on Valentine’s Day. The very next day, Conch Shell charmed her adopter and went home after a four-month wait. (Yep, TNR’d cats are vaccinated too!)⁠ ⁠ We say “TNVR” to highlight the importance of vaccines—because spay/neuter AND vaccines help keep community cats and the public healthy and thriving. At 15 years young, our old friend found a new home to live out her golden years. ⁠ ⁠ Ms. Harlow was quick to settle in, exploring every lounging spot, sunny windowsill, and lookout perch. While Ms. Harlow’s new cat roommate may be taking some time to adjust, we know there’s a beautiful friendship just around the corner. 💞⁠ ⁠ As Ms. Harlow embarks on her next chapter, her journey is proof that finding friendship and love has no deadline!
