JULY

7/8 (Wed.) TNR Seminar at Tree House Humane Society Bucktown Branch, 1629 N. Ashland, 7:00 p.m.:
Information will be given on building inexpensive shelters and a short video presentation will give a step-by-step guide for how to help cats. You'll learn how to humanely trap outdoor cats and be given instructions on how to safely deter cats from where they are not wanted. Join us to network and meet others who are helping cats.

7/11 (Sat.) Outreach Event at PETCO, 440 N. Orleans St., 12:00 noon – 3:00 p.m.: PETCO on Orleans is welcoming Tree House to their store to talk about Tree House and our many programs! Stop by to learn more about adoptions, trap-neuter-return at the peak of kitten season, and much more.

7/11 (Sat.) Outreach Event at Sit! Pet Boutique & Grooming Salon, 2316 W. Leland, 12:00 noon – 3:00 p.m.: Sit! is hosting ‘Cat Week’ July 5 – 11 and during that time will be collecting donations for the Tree House cats while offering specials on cat-related products. We will be there on the last day of the week-long event to show off one of our kitties and to talk about our Adoption Program, among many others. If you shop at Sit, or are in the area, please drop in to donate or to say hello.

7/18 (Sat.) Outreach Event at Ruff Haus, 4652 N. Rockwell, 12:00 noon – 3:00 p.m.: This Ravenswood pet boutique specializes in premium natural pet foods and products. Tree House and some feline representatives will be at Ruff Haus to speak with the public about our many services and programs, including our Adoption Program.

7/20 (Mon.) 7/23 (Thur.) 1st Annual Meow Luau Benefit, Trader Todd's Outdoor Beer Garden, 3216 N. Sheffield, 6:00 p.m. -  8:00 p.m.: Celebrate summer the way it was meant to be celebrated--with tropical drinks and good friends. This first annual Meow Luau event takes place on Thursday, July 23, from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Trader Todd's. Your $25 ticket includes open bar and appetizers for two hours! Enjoy raffle prizes and silent auction, too. 100% of proceeds will be donated to Tree House and we hope to see you there! Purchase your tickets now! 7/31 (Fri.) The Jenn Rhoads Project Benefit Concert, Strawdog Theatre's Hugen Hall, 3829 N. Broadway, 8:30 p.m.: Tree House's very own volunteer and supporter, Jenn Rhoads, is holding a tribute concert for the cats of Tree House. 100% of your $7 entrance ticket will be donated to the kitties! (Tickets available at the door only.) Check out their modern blues tunes prior to the show, and get ready for an incredible live performance! Tree House reps will be setting up shop with materials and a bake sale, so get ready for a tasty evening.
