Chanty
Chanty was found in a box at a gas station with two kittens. Originally thought to be the mother, it turns out he was the father! What a good papa! (His kittens were Scallywag, Siren, and Seagram- all adopted) Chanty was adopted rather quickly, but became very ill in his home after three years, and was returned. Chanty is a very gentle cat who enjoys people attention greatly, but is sometimes too passive to come out and ask for love. Chanty does very well with the other cats. He is currently on medication and hydrations, all of which he takes very well. While living on the streets he was exposed to Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), a disease that can compromise a cat’s immune system, but often cats with FIV can live long and healthy lives. In the event that cats show symptoms of the disease, Tree House offers a lifetime health contract to help adopters with any potential veterinary care involved. Zebediah
Hello, my name is Zebediah. I am a 5 1/2 year old solid white boy cat. I have a pink nose like a sweet little bunny, but I assure you, I am very manly. I am big solid handsome cat who is very personable and cool. I mostly like to relax and hang out. I'm pretty talkative. I like attention, and will approach you for love. I'll hang out on your lap and nuzzle your hand for affection. I'm a great cat. Ballou
HI! I’m Ballou! I'm a short haired white with brown tabby boy who is about 5 years old. I can be distinquished by my large cheeks and trademark meow. I'm very personable, and will probably be one of the first cats to approach you when you enter my room. I may also be the first to get onto your lap as well. I love people attention! I can get a little jealous when other cats are around, and sometimes I'll swat or maybe hiss at them. I'm not aggressive, I just love me some lovin'!

Mishu
Hi, I’m Mishu. I'm the newest addition to the FIV + room here. I suppose in my picture it looks a bit like I've got a snarl, but I assure you I am ALL LOVE!! I'm a sweet- natured, gentle 9 year old boy who likes to observe my surroundings, and human nature. I will approach you for attention and love. I will sit in your lap if you coax me to. Since I am new, I am still getting used to the cats around me, and can sometimes hiss at them, but ultimately, I'm cool with them. I do not have any health issues, and am not on any medications, though I have tested positive for FIV, which means I have a weakened immune system. Email Mishu if you would like more information. |

Sonny
Hello all, I’m Sonny. What do you want to know about me? I am 5 years old. I am a lovable black cat with a spattering of white fur along my head, and some have a pair of really cool green eyes. I love it when people sit on the floor, as it means there is probably a lap, and I love laps! I also love being close to people, and introduce myself to everyone who comes in the room. I compete with some of my roommates for attention but I usually get along well with them. As an FIV kitty I just need a little extra attention to my health, as my immune system is not as strong as it can be, but I have a chance of living a long, healthy life. Ravi
Ravi is a LOVE!! He was a stray-cat street boy and is FIV+. Initially, when he came to the shelter he was so scared. We thought it would take a lot of work and socializing to get him to come around. We were WRONG!! Ravi is such a lover! He comes running to be petted and is lots of fun. He is so sweet! Ravi is around 7 years old. Email Ravi if you would like more information. |

Windsor
Hello, my name is Windsor. I am 2 1/2 years old. I'm pretty sure I'm deaf. I have extra toes on my front paws. I seem to be a very sweet and somewhat shy boy. I have sweet and sad green eyes. I LOVE the company of other cats. I am a pretty mellow cat that loves naps. I'm shy with strangers so please approach me slowly first. I will show my loving and affectionate side when I'm comfortable with my surroundings and people I trusts. I have tested positive for the virus that causes FIV, I have no health issues, and am not on a daily medication.
