Tree House Announces Plans to Build a Spay/Neuter Clinic at the New Bucktown Branch!

T ree House Animal Foundation is proud of our new shelter facility at 1629 N. Ashland Avenue in Chicago. In February of 2007, we assumed the care of the approximately 50 cats who were residing at the shelter, formerly under the care of another shelter organization. We are so glad that with your support, we are able to provide the cats at the Bucktown facility a home, and that we were able to save the shelter from falling into the hands of a developer.

Given the space constraints of our clinic at the Carmen Avenue facility, we are planning to utilize the first floor of the Bucktown Branch as a low-cost spay/neuter clinic. This will require a substantial investment of initial funding to create such a clinic. A generous donation was recently made by long-time supporter Sabrina MacLean which will enable us to start construction. In the meantime, we are forming a strategic and financial plan to sustain the future operation of the clinic. We need your help to make this dream a reality and to save the thousands of animals from being euthanized every year in Chicago .
